The volcano Nevado del Huila is the highest point of the central cordillera of the Andes in Colombia, 5750 m, being the second highest mountain in the country after the twin peaks of Christopher Columbus and Simón Bolívar, with 5775 meters, located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It is located in the Cordillera Central in the territory of the departments of Huila, Tolima and Cauca.
